Public Works Division
The Public Works Division has wide ranging operation and maintenance responsibilities for the Town's public Streets System (including drainage infrastructure) and for various other municipal facilities (buildings and grounds, parks, trails). The Division also provides Fleet Management and Mechanical Services for the Town's vehicles and equipment, maintenance of the Town's Parks and Buildings and maintains the Valley View Cemetery.
The Department provides development review for private developments that are proposed in Clarkdale, including engineering review to ensure that projects are constructed according to Town specifications. Construction inspection for private development and for public infrastructure projects is also a critical function.
The Department also administers various Town contracts, including the contract with Patriot Disposal to provide curbside Trash/Recycling Services for Clarkdale residents. We also design and oversee construction of capital projects for the Town.
For the convenience of our Utility Customers (water, sewer, trash), we offer a variety of payment options.
The Department staff takes great pride in providing services to our community in an efficient and cost-effective manner while also providing excellent customer service.
