Patio Park Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Public Notice
The Town of Clarkdale is accepting comments on the draft Patio Park Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy from January 12, 2024 through February 13, 2024. The Revitalization Strategy establishes goals for improving and maintaining the unique character of this historic Clarkdale neighborhood in four focus areas: Clean and Safe Environment; Neighborhood Identity; Land Use and Development Regulation; and Housing Stock Enhancement. The Strategy may be accessed at Patio Park Neighborhood Revitalization Plan | Clarkdale, AZ. An open house will be held at Town Hall from 5:00 – 6:00 pm on Tuesday February 13, 2024. Notice of Intent - Proposed Increase Water and Wastewater Rates, Fees, or Service Charges
Pursuant to A.R.S. § 9-511.01, the Town of Clarkdale provides Notice of Intent to adopt utility rate adjustments as outlined in the Town’s Water and Wastewater Rate Study/Analysis prepared by Economists.com (the “Report”). The increased water/wastewater rates, rate components, fees, or services charges are generally related to capital investments.
This Notice of Intent was heard by the Town Council at its meeting on Nov. 14, 2023, at 6 p.m.
The Town Council will hold a Water and Wastewater System Public Open House on Jan. 11, 2024, at 5 p.m. The Town Council will also hold a public hearing at least sixty days after adoption of the notice of intent on Jan. 23, 2024, at 3 p.m., in which the public may comment on the rates, fees, or service charges. The Clarkdale Town Council will consider adoption of the new rates by resolution after the public hearing on Jan. 23, 2024. All meetings will be held at 19 N. Ninth Street, Clarkdale, Arizona.
A copy of this Notice of Intent will be posted on the Town’s website with a copy of the Report, data supporting changes to the Town’s rates, and cash flow projections at least thirty days prior to the public hearing.
IF APPROVED BY COUNCIL, THE RATES WILL BECOME EFFECTIVE ON FEB. 22, 2024, AND ANNUALLY ADJUST THEREAFTER FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS WITHOUT FURTHER ACTION OF COUNCIL AS SPECIFIED IN THE FEE SCHEDULE.
A copy of the Report, data supporting changes to the Town’s rates, and cash flow projections may be reviewed at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Clarkdale, at 39 N. Ninth St. during normal office hours, Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Persons wishing to comment on the proposed changes may do so, in writing, prior to the meeting listed above or may testify in person at the meeting. The Town Council may adopt any of the water and wastewater rates, fees, or service charges at its meeting.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO AMEND THE TOWNWIDE FEE SCHEDULE
The Town of Clarkdale is proposing changes to the requirements and fee structure for multiple Townwide fees. The proposed changes will tentatively be brought forward at the Sept. 26, 2023, Town Council meeting. At the Sept. 26, 2023, Council meeting, Council will consider an amended fee schedule which would provide for changes in proposed fees. The changes can be viewed on the attached “Notices of Intent”.
There will be an opportunity for stakeholder comments during a meeting to be held at the Town of Clarkdale Council Chambers, Clark Memorial Clubhouse, Men’s Lounge, 19 N. Ninth St., Clarkdale, AZ or via Zoom Video Conference (link to be provided on Town website Council Agenda for Sept. 26, 2023) at the 3 p.m. meeting.
